Well, not Barilla's anyway. With all these boycotts, pretty soon they're going to be down to Costco's store brands and the weird guy down the street who hand weaves hemp underwear for all their shopping needs.

Head of Barilla pasta company: Gays can eat someone else’s pasta

Guido Barilla, president of the family-owned Barilla pasta company, said in a radio interview on Wednesday that his company only supports “the traditional family” and that LGBT people “can go eat someone else’s pasta.” According to John Aravosis at Americablog, Barilla has since backtracked on his remarks somewhat, but many LGBT people around the world are reacting angrily to the slam by the head of the massive, global brand.

“We won’t include gays in our ads, because we like the traditional family,” Barilla told an interviewer. “If gays don’t like it, they can always eat another brand of pasta. Everyone is free to do what they want, provided it doesn’t bother anyone else.”

Barilla said today that he meant no ill will toward LGBT people with his remarks, saying in a statement, “With reference to statements made yesterday, I apologize if my words have generated controversy or misunderstanding, or if they have hurt the sensibilities of some people. In the interview I simply wanted to highlight the central role of the woman in the family.”

I think if I owned one of these companies and started catching shit from the moonbats, I'd put out a press release announcing that I was donating one dollar for every complaining email, phone call, letter and Facebook post my company got to the American Family Institute or some right-to-life organization and see what happened, just to **** with their heads.  :tongue:

Quite a long time ago, the turd-burglars tried to brow-beat the owner of Celestial Seasonings.
They demanded (it was not a request), that he donate something like 100k to them.
He published that demand in the paper, and basically told to take a hike.
It was hilarious.
The radical poofters pitched a fit.
The normal ones, continued to buy the product.

Yeah I saw this a few hours ago on Ace of Spades (which BTW the comments made me laugh beer out of my nose...and that hurts) and have already bought a few boxes of Barilla Linguine (loves me some Linguine and clams) which was more expensive but IMHO tastes better.

I am so tired of the turd burglar mafia.
