I thought it was common knowledge that the intent of the "Affordable Care Act' was to screw everything up so completely and so deeply that the only way to turn it all around would be to RUN, not walk, to the nearest Single Payer system.

This crap is by design.  It was never meant to be anything but hell on earth.

My goodness. It sure is fun to watch the DUmmies finally wake up to the nightmare they begged for.  The momentary chuckle is soon replaced by disgust because we'll all suffer for it.

Ours was dissolved/privatized a couple of years ago -- it functions MUCH better now and the people working there are actually pleasant.

In NY, each county runs the offices in their particular county.  I don't know how well that goes, but it's still a governmental function, so it's a marginal improvement (if at all).
