I read a good quote a couple of weeks ago. 'The Grass is not always greener on the other side, maybe it is better to water your own grass." It can go for relationships, but it fits here quite nicely too!!
I heard one, also concerning relationships, that read: "The grass may be greener on the other side, but you still have to mow it."
When I was growing up back in the 60's, I always heard this shit on the TV about the ghetto, how people born in the ghetto were trapped there. I thought it was some sort of fenced in area with barbed wire on top and guard towers.
When I got older, I realized they were not trapped there, they were just too damned lazy to leave!
