Sources say it could be Clint Eastwood
http://politicalwire.com/archives/2012/08/29/is_clint_eastwood_the_mystery_speaker.html

He has a movie coming out...could be good publicity!

Of course, he had said that after Gran Torino he would not act in a movie again.

I thought Eastwood had become a quiet Dem in recent years, especially since he made it pretty clear he isn't an RKBA supporter.  I suppose it could be him trying to play at redemption, though.

My fake money is on Snugglebunny, though.

I think he supports Romney.

I think he supports Romney.

He does support Romney and this is on Hot Air this morning:

Quote
Townhall‘s Guy Benson has word from a source that the actor is headed to Tampa. The A-lister’s name has been among those bandied about as the advertised mystery speaker for Thursday night. Inbound?

A well-placed Republican source tells Townhall that Oscar-winning director and actor Clint Eastwood will travel to Tampa, Florida to attend Mitt Romney’s nominating convention this week. As the news media scrambles to identify the so-called “mystery speaker” scheduled to address GOP delegates on Thursday evening, some have speculated that the iconic Hollywood figure could fit the bill. Our source — who spoke on the condition of anonymity — could not confirm if Eastwood is, in fact, the intriguing “to-be-announced” speaker, but stated unequivocally that the Dirty Harry star will arrive in Florida late on Wednesday or early on Thursday, and will return to southern California on Friday.

Based on the promos I've seen, it appears that he's playing the same character he did in Gran Torino.

Adam Sandler?

It was announced a while back that GW turned down a speaking position at the convention and also that he would not attend.

I would LOVE for it to be Dick Cheney but I think they want to distance themselves a little from the Bush Admin -- even though Condi is there.

I also heard this.

I guess he thought it would hurt his movie career if he was an out of the closet republican, turns out he ruined that all on his own.

Reports from various sources say that Clint Eastwood was spotted on Tampa-bound flight today.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

George Obama and Dinesh D'souza would be better.  Let's drive the final nail in the coffin of that "compassionate Dhimmi'Rat" tripe. :foff:

Man, George Obama would really put a downer on the liberals. I can see quite a few of them jumping off bridges for that one.

That would seriously do some damage. Wow. It won't happen, but man I wish it would.
