Wow.

I have this void in my life.

I've went around and around with Iverglas since our old CU days.

**** it. There are plenty of DUmmies in the asylum.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

But you have to admit that like nadin, she was rather tiresome and tedious.

That's why I always wanted her to win a top ten spot in the Top DUmmies of previous years, so the bitch would get embarrassed and flame out, never to be seen again.

There's about 3,500 more primitives, of which probably two-thirds, maybe 2,300 are bona fide primitives, and circa 2,300 isn't a small number from which to pick.

Now that the bitch is dead, I hope to God she stays dead.

The DUmmies don't realize that since Skimmer joined the 1% faction, he doesn't need to put up with their bullshit. He gets his funding from the evil corporate empire now.

The DUmmies can't donate large chunks of money to stay in the good graces of the DUmp management.

Was her objection that she didn't feel that men who consider themselves "transgender" not be allowed to post in the feminist forum?

Anybody of any gender was not allowed to post.

We need some volunteers to fill the roles of Pebbles, Bam Bam, Fred, Wilma, Betty, Dino, and others.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

I think that leaves Wilma and Betty.  Oh, and Dino.

By the way, everybody, the Canunt (hat tip to DAT) has a special little rubber room where she is currently screaming through the window bars to us here at CC.

For the record, ex-DUmmie Canunt Iverglass, if you wish to drop on by the CC and talk to us personally, we're only a few keystrokes away.

That's great.

I love the way that we jump from a thread entitled "this forum is defunct" (i.e., we got found out by Skins and had to pretend that we're not plotting behind his back) to an histerical rant about how horrid we "wing-nuts" are.

Iverglas did actually formulate thoughts, and distinguish between different thoughts.  Many others on DU are satisfied to express attitudes, and to pretend that their attitudes are thoughts.

Perhaps she was like Syme in the novel 1984: too intelligent for Big Brother.

Here's some crimethink from Iverglas:

Such intelligence. Such integrity. You, alerter, and the poor Priyanka with all her collection of undergraduate credits in ... oh, you know, what all those terribly multiply disadvantaged women get tenure to teach these days ...

Did a few different German actors play the role of a non-existent Adolf Hitler?

We have heard that there might never have been a Jesus and that somebody other than Shakespeare might have written the plays allegedly written by somebody named "Shakespeare."

Now, how do we know that there was actually a real person named "Adolf Hitler"? A secret group of conspirators who are skilled in arts and design (including the arts of acting, public speaking, and advertising), can easily create a persona who doesn't exist. Once the group of conspirators acquires political power, it can be totalitarian and continue to keep information under tight control.

Stalin was a member of the 99 percent   Updated at 1:01 PM

Edited on Thu Oct-06-11 05:51 PM by Boojatta
It is clear that, one month before the Bolsheviks seized power from the provisional democratic government, Stalin was a member of the 99 percent.

According to reputable biographers, Stalin remained a 99 percenter (in terms of personal economic consumption, not in terms of political power) even after he became the leader of the USSR. Stalin sought and acquired the substance of power, and had little interest in the trappings of power.

Furthermore, Lenin referred to Stalin as a "wonderful Georgian." Yes, Stalin was a member of an ethnic minority group, a Georgian rather than a Russian.

What's not to like?

Did you actually say "what's not to like?" in reference to Stalin?  WTF.

I gotta go visit Iverglas in the "hospital."  BRB.

Back.  She's ranting to herself, all by herself, at her numerous Internet enemies.  Her last post was today:

...and then suddenly the meds kicked in.  No commentary on 0.01%  (who I remember fondly from the DUmp).
