2008 Election, A Repeat of 2000?
« on: January 05, 2008, 06:39:48 PM »
Since this election year is similar to 2000 election, in which the sitting president cannot serve and two major parties are vying for presidency. I think this election will be very close with razor thin margins and could end up in the courts again. It is possible that the next president could lose the popular votes, but win the Electoral College, like what happened in 1824, 1876, 1888, and 2000. Only difference is, the 2000 Election was not as decisive as 2004 and 2008 Election, but it came decisive once it ended up in the courts. However Hopefully I am proven wrong though. Than again, there has not been a landslide since 1988 Election.
