Based on what you know about the rifle do you think a person could make those three shots in the time frame without a ton of luck?
To get off three shot requires only the time to work the action twice, since he would have been starting with one up the pipe. Oswald had been a Marine, and was no slouch with a piece apparently. I don't remember what the total exposure time was, IIRC exactly which bullet hit whom has been quite the CT debate item ever since the event. But if you go with the first round going right where it was aimed followed by two sloppier shots, it takes less than ten seconds to get three rounds off with
any bolt action rifle.
