She asked if everyone was vaccinated. Everyone said yes. But her loved ones say then one player took a gamble at that card game that no one else saw coming. "Somebody decided that testing positive for COVID is something they can hide," Lauren said. "The only way we found out is that the person owned up after Nana got sick."
CaliforniaPeggy (140,177 posts) 1. How awful! Lying so you can attend a card game...And your lie killed this old lady. How do you fix this?

Most people appear to balance self-interest with consideration for others--at least they used to. Our society, as it once once, encouraged this. The balance allowed enough self-interest for people to have dreams and to set goals in their pursuit of happiness. To the deplorables, what they want and need is all that matters--big or small.
