Out of the mouths of babes
I was at the bagel store this morning. A little girl, maybe 5 or 6 was there with her dad, both masked. A guy comes in with his mask under his nose and the little girl looked at him and said "you have to wear your mask over your nose or they're going to tell you to leave."
He pulled up his mask.
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100216204973#post9I've said this before, but it bears repeating to any lurking DUmbasses; CHILDREN ARE NOT MINIATURE ADULTS.
They will sometimes say funny things, adult-sounding things, or things that sound "wise" given the circumstances, but at age 5, unless they're a true prodigy, it's usually something learned by rote or parroted from their parents. They don't read the Science section in magazines, dwell on politics, or have a framework of social responsibility outside of sharing their toys with their siblings. And no, they are not little SJWs because they heard Daddy say they had to put their mask on before going into the convenience store for their bag of M&Ms.

3. Bet she volunteers to take names in class...
Frankly, I wouldn’t want my child telling a stranger they were breaking rules even if he or she were right. While I doubt her parents taught her to go around ‘Karening’, I know children will often say things that cause their parents to cringe.
If she is the child of a moonbat, her parents will most definitely teach her that her opinions matter most and are worthy of being shoved in other's faces in public. Not only will she be taking names in class, a few years later she'll be the one doxxing her neighbor for having a Gadsden flag on their porch.

20. I guess it's a good thing I'm a cat mom
because if she were my kid, I'd probably laugh my head off.
My cats don't mind putting people in their place, either.
No one was "put in their place." Assuming that any little bit of this tale is true, masks slip all the time, especially the disposable paper jobs.

5. The rules are very simple
and understood by children
They understand they'll go in timeout or not get to watch Bob The Builder again if they don't comply. The deeper meaning behind the rules, not so much.

9. Children get it
it’s the parents who don’t. I substituted recently in a kindergarten class and all the children were masked and when one of them let that mask slip below their noses some of them admonished the student who then pulled up their mask. They understood that the masks protect others and themselves. I was so proud of those 5 year olds! Just like that child who had more sense then that man!
If the child had followed up with a "Let's go Brandon!" they'd be lamenting the indoctrination from her parents.

22. that guy made the right decision
never argue with a girl whose dad is right there
Who TF "argues" with a strange 5 y.o.? Only a Leftist who spots one with a little MAGA hat, and then the child may end up being pepper sprayed.
