with how this bill is specific to focus on islam, it seems to be in conflict with the First Amendment and the part about congress being prohibited from passing any bill establishing a religion. Now while this bill doesn't expressly establish islam as a religion, it gives favor to islam in regards to how it only addresses perceived phobia or combat efforts to “promote racial hatred” against muslims while ignoring phobia or any kind of hatred against other religions.
Zackly. As the author points out, Christians are the most persecuted in the world for their religion. I might posit that Jews have been the most persecuted over time, but currently, that stigma falls to Christians.
Crickets from Omar and her ilk about that. CAIR, the terrorist-supporting organization, is still hard at work defending same and nary a word from Omar about them. In fact, she supports them.
Nope, this bill is just another outrage among many concerning Omar. Her constituency lies in a sanctuary city setup. Why and how they have more of a voice than say any other representative in Congress is an issue that lies squarely at the feet of the leftist media.
