Title: Anyone playin' around with the Arduino single board 'puter?
Post by: AllosaursRus on October 10, 2013, 11:49:17 AM
Stumbled upon this board since it is open source a few weeks ago. Anyone else find this little board addicting?

Been familiar with Atmel for years with small wanderings into Motorola. Price wise, this thing is the cat's meow!

From 8 bit to 32 models for less than 40 bucks, this board comes stackable with varying amounts of computing power.

Just wonderin' if anyone else is playin'.

I got a Raspberry-Pi does that count.

They are fun to play with.

a guy I work with made a Roku clone with a raspberry-pi.  Now he is making an automated sprinkler controller with another pi that will consult online weather conditions to control how much water his lawn needs.

I think that may meet the Star Trek:TNG definition of "sentience."

I have two of them just sitting around as leftovers from a client project I was working on.

I was thinking of making a Pandora player for the shop out of one.
