DUpipo should be very careful what they wish for. Nancy Pelosi told everyone to go to Chinatown in San Francisco. And that was WELL after the first cases had arrived here, and well after the Prez had instituted that hateful, bigoted, xenophobic travel ban.

This was from an article on February 2, also after the travel ban:

We have learned of the 1st positive case of COVID-19 in NY. The patient contracted the virus while in Iran & is isolated

There is no reason for undue anxiety—the general risk remains low in NY. We are diligently managing this situation &will provide info as it becomes available.

Doing this would be a World of Stupid for the Dems:

* Trump's people will be able to state on TV (probably) and in the Congressional record how much Trump has done;

* Schifftyroo won't have the excuse that it's classified information, so either the public gets informed, or he has to try blatantly unjust maneuvers to suppress what he won't want heard;

* Trump's people will be able to state on TV (probably) and in the Congressional record what is known of Chinese and WHO misleading the world.

A year ago I thought Miss Nancy and the Dems to smart to be foolish enough to try a shampeachment. I was wrong, and they did, and they face-planted. Miss Nancy and the Dems should be smarter than to try this fore-doomed stunt, but I no longer have confidence that they are.

"Action had been taken early on," like initiating screening passengers before China acknowledged that human-human transmission was happening? Trump did that, 3 days before China's acknowledgement.

What DU-folk want is speculation based on current knowledge about things done 2-3 months ago. Because Trump acted ahead of or promptly on what was known when he acted.
