Manafort is ****ED. And that means...
Trump is too.
You have to be either completely stupid or completely desperate to tamper with witnesses once you've been indicted by a special prosecutor. Manafort knew he was being observed and monitored which is why he used encrypted software to attempt to communicate. So he's not stupid.
Manafort *is* going to go to jail until his trial. He will break and will turn against Trump to save his own ass. And if Trump tries to pardon him, I suspect Mueller has a plan for that.
Manafort just set off a move that allows Mueller to check-mate Trump. This is the beginning of the end.

Manafort's crimes (if any) are his own and have nothing to do with Trump. If he has tampered with evidence then it was evidence against him and his charges. Don't the DUpipo get this?

It depends on exactly what his bail terms were and what he really said, he does have a right to prep his own defense and talk to witnesses the same as Mueller does to prepare his generally (Barring any specific limits set by the judge) but apparently Mueller is upset because he used secure communications that Mueller's boyos couldn't read. But yeah, it has nothing to do with Trump either way, whether the Judge decides he was in the right or wrong.

When is the judge expected to rule on this, have you heard?
I would expect it to be as soon as possible, but I'm clueless about legal proceedings. And pretty much everything else in life.

Considering that the things Manafort is being investigated for, occurred LONG before he had any association with the Trump campaign, I believe they're in for another spectacular letdown.

Unless he's under court order to produce that information, does he not enjoy 4th amendment protections against search and seizure of his person and effects? Would that not include mail? So, why is email different?
