David Swanson, one of the original organizers of the October 2011/Stop the Machine protests — which is distinct from the Occupy D.C. protests in McPherson Square — explained the plan to an assembled crowd of less than 100, mainly elderly and middle-aged protesters in Freedom Square Tuesday morning.

The plan is to send protesters into the Hart building in small insurgent groups, which will begin causing chaos at 11:30 a.m.

“If you go inside, there are people who are wanting to go into the elevators and fill them and not get out and push all the buttons. If you like that, do it,” he said.

The activists also plan to block access to bathrooms.

I dunno, Karin. I think the DC police will stare at all this in complete befuddlement, only because it's so stupid.

Same thing happened in Madison, WI. Cops basically stood around and let the hippies shit all over the place. When the hippies wore their welcome out after, what a week?, then they started busting heads -- gingerly, since the cameras were rolling.

The DC cops are not inclined to start busting caps or heads -- not yet anyway. But all bets are off when they start shitting on the steps of the Capitol Building -- then it's time for water cannon and Lysol.

Nobody's going to be busting caps, but with the law enforcement assets available this will be a very temporary inconvenience at most...even assuming all 100 of the shiftless wankers stick to their plan instead of wimping out when crunch time comes.

Actually that sounds like a darn fine idea. Use a bit of detergent with the water cannon to foam 'em down.  Kind of make the street a big slip an slide.  You might even end up with clean, fresh smelling hippies.   Even the threat of soap and water might send 'em runnin. :fuelfire:

I tell you what.  I imagine there are people that actually work in that bldg, some probably even have to clock in.  I hate to see what happens to those protesters when they get in the way of someone trying to report to work.  I know how that would play out at my place of employment.  Not good at all.
