I have a problem which is ... this:

That is a slat of vinyl siding which I'm guessing was blown open with some strong winds that we have been having.
My biggest problem is .. this:

I can't possibly stand on that slant without the fear of falling right off!
And, even if I could stand on the roof, the siding is still up above my hand height!
I have called numerous 'fixit' folks but none have bothered to come out to look at the problem!
I can't imagine even bothering a siding company to come fix, what would be a "Not Worthwhile" job for them?
I have an extension ladder so getting up on the roof wouldn't be a problem.
(The problem is .. I'm 63 years old and falls ain't what they use to be!) :rotf:
Ideas please?
Thanks

DDIY: Don't do it yourself.
Call a siding company and explain the problem. They will send some young buck out and he will "zip" it right back in place.

Rent a "cherry-picker" or hijack a bucket truck from a cable or power company.

Do you have a bow and some arrows?

Maybe Bill Burris would be willing to lend a hand.

I feel really foolish.
The guy came out, put his extension ladder up against the front side of the house, reached around the corner and 'fixed' it!
Took him all of five minutes!
What can I say?
I'm old? :bawl:

It's called "experience".
