Quote
NFL quarterback Brett Favre has filed retirement papers, two sources told FOXSports.com Monday.

While Favre could still change his mind, as he did during the 2008 and 2009 offseasons, there is no indication the granddaddy gunslinger will return this time.

The 41-year-old quarterback stated 2010 was his final season after rejoining the Minnesota Vikings in August and reiterated that intent throughout an injury-plagued campaign

For his body's sake he needs to retire, like 5 years ago.  NFL players are well known to suffer a lot of pain after they retire and get older. I really think his passion for football is going catch up to him in a major way as he ages.

Because of the concussions this year, he may not be able to get medically qualified by any team's doctor.

I can't believe there are media outlets that will still actually report this nonsense.   Favre has cried wolf one too many times.

Agreed. We won't really know if the drama queen has really retired until August. But actually, I'll wait till early September to really see.

I don't follow sports but even I know that that paperwork has been slid back and forth across the table so many times that you can hardly read it any more.

Well, I sure as hell hope he doesn't get the same reception from his home town as he did the FIRST time he retired.  Damn fool.

He was a bit actor in Something About Mary before becoming a major soap opera star on The Vikings' Hope where he helped Luke and Laura foil the Casadine Weather Machine before revealing he was Mikkos Cassadine's illegitimate son and ultimately joining his father in turning the weather machine on the Metrodome and joining Scott Tenorman in his bid to make it a Ginger World after all.

Meh...maybe. I've been through this Favre shit for about 4 years now (coincidentally.)

Though I would like to see someone make a youtube SAW video featuring a Favre "game."

PS: Isn't that the most badass theme for a horror movie ever? I think so.

Shame on you. I implore you to at least go rent the first one. Not suitable for the young ones, or even some squeamish women, but it's very intriguing. They all are, IMO. And here:

This is basically the theme they use to piece everything together at the end of the movies. It's a cross betwen horrifying, and beautiful at the same time. Great composition.

I remember renting some 'horror' movie a while back... I really don't remember what it was.  It may have been that one where you watch the movie and you end up dead.  It wasn't very good.

Horror movies just don't grab me.  Maybe if they had better writing or weren't so dumb.

Well, the victims are pretty much about as smart as in a Jason or Kruger monie, but the plotline is kind of awesome. It's all about "Cherishing YOUR life" according to the movie, but you don't find that out in the first one. You just find out how all of it starts.
