Dead Dandelions
« on: April 17, 2012, 08:01:32 PM »
I've not found anything that kills Dandelions.

Ya I know round up kills them but it kills everyting else.

In my late yard I have not found anything that kills weeds.

My Ex neighbor did...he used round up to kill everything and started over.

He wound up with Kentucky blue grass and chick weed

I do need to mention that he installed a sprinkler system and it did help the grass (kentucky blue grass) grow.

But the chick weed is still there, in strength,

Ortho and whatever just makes them sick and then makes them pissed off.

If it weren't for Dandelions, I'd have no yard at all. Gloom, dispair and agony on me.

I grow them to feed the rabbits.
"Liberalism is an essentially feminine, submissive world view. Perhaps a better adjective than feminine is infantile. It is the world view of men who do not have the moral toughness, the spiritual strength to stand up and do single combat with life, who cannot adjust to the reality that the world is not a huge, pink-and-blue, padded nursery in which the lions lie down with the lambs and everyone lives happily ever after."

~ Dr. William Pierce

If those are the ones with prickly leaves and a purple stalk, I got them too....but they're green so they're lawn too.

That's my philosophy too.  If it's green and it gets mowed, it's lawn.  I can't imagine killing your whole lawn because of a few dandelions, and starting over.  You got an ugly muddy mess for a good long while.  No way.
Eagle, I'd just call them one of God's creatures and be done with it.

Yeah, I watched it for the girls...articles.

I watched it for the Roy Clark Big Note Songbook commercials. Junior S. was simply too stupid to believe, and Archie Campbell kept slopping his dripper.
