A congressional candidate in Texas was mocked over his appearance during a segment on "Saturday Night Live."

Comedian Pete Davidson was giving his "first impressions" of some candidates ahead of Tuesday's midterm elections during the show's "Weekend Update."

He said that there are "some gross people" running and mockingly described Gov. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) and Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), among others.

They always talk bullying and the left is guilty of it.

SNL is such a joke. When was the last time it was funny?

Everyone has a higher standard then the Idiot @realDonaldTrump.   Pete Davidson is a Comedian. Which means what he says is a joke and he makes people laugh. I agree sometimes they go beyond but I'm sure he doesn't mean to be nasty like Trump does. Trump doesn't care.

You need to open your eyes.  Stop worrying about the MSM and start looking at the reality.  What we are doing to people at the border is inhumane and unAmerican.  The children are being housed as prisoners, are not being cared for properly, and are devastated.

If Pete wants to laugh about his own dad’s death on 9/11, let him. Maybe that’s his way of dealing with it, but it’s disrespectful to veterans to mock their injuries they sustained fighting for our freedom.

Last episode I saw, not that I really watch it anymore, had 1, that's right, ONE punchline that was not mean-spirited against Trump or Republicans.  Back during the seventies and eighties, maybe one skit per night would have a political joke (who didn't enjoy Bassmaster 76 blender or "Chopping Broccoli" by Dana Carvey? The Church Lady?  Master Thespian?), now they have nothing but.  The only good running skit anymore is "The Californians" where they talk about traffic and stare into mirrors.  And they wonder why the ratings suck.

Kenan Thompson is once again addressing his "Saturday Night Live" co-star Pete Davidson's joke about Dan Crenshaw, a now-elected Republican congressman, who lost an eye while serving in the U.S. military, stating that he believes the NBC show is "figuring out a way to right that wrong."

“I know it’s being handled internally... it’s never somewhere that I would go like in the offense territory towards veterans because my father is one,” the 40-year-old comic and actor said during an appearance on "The View" on Tuesday.

"It’s been an unfortunate outcome when you’re a comedian trying to go for jokes," Thompson, whose father served in the Vietnam War, continued.

SNL should be off the air for good. It should of been canned a long time ago.

Many greats have been banned or fired from SNL like Norm Macdonald or Adam Sandler.

They keep the likes of Peter Davidson, Alec Baldwin, and Katie Rich.
