trof (1000+ posts) Fri Apr-04-08 03:47 PMOriginal message Guys, I SERIOUSLY need help on this poll. Advertisements [?]I've never asked before, but I'm asking now. Here's the deal...An Alabama newspaper, the Demopolis Times, today published an editorial that says "Siegelman's release was not popular in Alabama".They offer no polling data or reasons. Just a flat (made up) statement. And they provide the means to hoist them on their own petard. At the website, on the left side, is a poll:"Do you agree with Former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman's release from prison?"The 'nos' are slightly ahead. Please just DU the HELL out of this one.You have my sincere gratitude. http://www.demopolistimes.com/articles/2008/04/04/view_points/opinion9859.tx

It is time for the Congress to do the same thing today with the polling industry. Subpoena and line up all of the lords of the polling industry and put 'em under oath. We want to know how they have been cooking their books, what their agenda is (especially that Rasmussen) and most of all, what they think they are contributing to democracy with these constant, non-stop polls.
