Oh my.

I just dragged out the boat and rowed over to Skins's island to see what the primitives were up to, and the first thing that slapped me in the face was another screed (but copied, not hers) of the subway cat.

It looked good, and it's a pretty big bonfire, lots of primitives around it, dancing and chanting and wiggle-waggling their armpits at each other, but I decided, nah, it's just too long.

And then I bumped into this brand-new primitive bonfire:

I will not change my mind ... I will continue to respect humanity

I will not change my mind.

I will not allow "scaredy cats" to convince me to support an attack on Iran.

I will not allow ignorant people to convince me that killing innocent people will promote peace.

I will not support the American Dream in order to promote International Nightmares.

I will continue to respect humanity.

Do we agree?

For some odd reason, one senses the American Nana primitive ("NanceGreggs") is getting some competition in the cheerleading department on Skins's island.

This is brand-new, only one primitive there so far.

1. Hmmm. Isn't humanity trying to attack Iran, believing that killing innocent people . . . will promote peace and, in the US at least, supporting the American Dream in order to promote International Nightmares?

What makes humanity so great? Why bother to respect it?

I think it's a moot question, because even at their best, the primitives don't respect humanity anyway.

It's okay with the primitives, after all, that infants get murdered, that many in the third-, fourth-, and fifth-worlds live under tyranny and oppression, that socialists commit genocide wherever socialists are to be found and in power, &c., &c., &c.

Undies,

It's true. A picture's worth a thousand words. That nailed it.

Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.
