dumb asses tarrifs are in effect. Saw it today at dillons. A cube of pepsi is 9.89 and a 12 pk 5.99
last week a cube was 5.99 and 12 packs were 4 for 10.
no raise in my check but everything else has risen
It couldn't be because there was a sale last week.
She should be tracking the price on Depends, not Pepsi. You know, the necessities.
Since her "last week" prices would have been very good 30 years ago, that store must've had a "loss leader" sale to draw in customers who would then buy other, normally priced, stuff.
Further, the corn sweetener used in US-made sodas is made from US grown corn, and soft drink companies' business models make use of local bottlers. Just look at the ad in a high school football game program and you'll know whether a town is a "Pepsi town" or a "Dr. Pepper town". My home town was a "Pepsi town", FWIW. Marysville, KS, a bit north of
demtenjeep IIRC, is a "Pepsi town".
IOW, Trump tariffs have nothing to do with the price of Pepsi in Kansas. Whether
demtenjeep knows this and is virtue-signaling/lying or is too dumb to know this, I neither know nor care.
