Deep down Kav's wife knows Ford was telling the truth
I was just thinking about that. Her face yesterday looked pretty hopeless, as if she knew. If she really thought her husband was innocent, I don't think she'd be that sad.

Whether he's confirmed or not, I wonder what the consequences of this will be on his personal life? At this point he has no choice but to push on. Not doing so would probably start a domino effect on his career. But pushing on and getting the Supreme Court? I wonder if he could go back, would he think it was worth it to accept the nomination in the first place?

When I saw Mrs. K. yesterday, I saw genuine pain. She watched her husband having to deny appalling allegations. She felt tremendous pain, for him, for their children, for their daughters, for her in-laws. She has had to endure threats against her family. (Of course, we haven't heard nearly as much about those as we had about threats against the wrinkly hag's family.) She knows that no matter what happens, her life and that of her family will never be the same as it was.
