Merrick Garland and Kavanaugh are currently on the same DC Court,
the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit. Wouldn't it be poetic justice not just for Kavanaugh's nomination to fail, but for him to be impeached for lying to Congress during his confirmation hearings, and removed from the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit for which Merrick Garland is the Chief Justice?

It's not over yet, but I'm confident that Kavanaugh is going to be confirmed--and when that happens, I'm going to have a big laugh about Kavanaugh going to the supreme court and leaving Garland behind.
