I was visiting DU Jr. when this idea occurred to me, and I will admit I posted it there first. But given the importance of the matter, this split between regular Democrats and cafeteria Democrats, I think it's worth repeating here.
What would happen if by sheer chance and accident--anything can happen, remember,
and usually does--Messalina Agrippina got her well-deserved Democrat nomination for the presidency, but then a "progressive socialist" such as She Guevera (although she's too young)--or any other possible candidate such as the jackpine jackasses like, maybe the old crank from Vermont, maybe the shallow senator from California, maybe the moonbeam from Hawaii, maybe Maxine Waters, were given the Democrat nomination for the vice-presidency?
Would this be a way of getting the Democrat party undivorced, healing their rift?
