Their god is apparently opposed to liberty, freedom and fairness for all Americans, just like they are, and punishes people who want those things very harshly.

Now that Helene has decimated rural areas of the Confederacy, who is their god punishing this time? I haven't heard a word about it from any of them.

While I'm sure that some "conservative" somewhere has said this, I have been posting on conservative/libertarian news & politics discussion sites since 1998. I have never seen such a, "They deserve it!" post.

Crime in NYC or SF or Oakland or Baltimore or The Land of LA or ..., yes, because those cities' increased crime is the consequence of the misleaders those cities voted into city-wide and/or county-wide office. But natural disasters, no.

When? When in the absolute **** do we do that? California wildfires? Not God, that's dumbass leftist policies of not doing controlled burns. Earthquakes? It's a damn active fault line. New Orleans/Katrina? They squandered the millions given to them to upgrade the levee system. The direct hit was on Mississippi side. NO was on the west side with the winds pushing Pontchartrain into the levee system they failed to upgrade....again, dumbass leftist governance. So, when do we bring God into it dumbass? WRT wildfires in CA, I remember there being a wildfire season back in the 60s, and obviously this has been an annual thing for millennia. Gooberment, courts, and Enviros did make this natural phenomenon much worse.

One of the great realizations for me back in the 70s or 80s was that there is no part of the Earth that does not have some kind of natural suck. I see the occasional tweet/FB post/reddit post claiming such things, usually getting shared by some moonbat to prove how evebil and literally Hitler conservatives are, but a little digging shows the source is 1) flat earth adjacent crack head who doesn't have a clue what Christianity or conservatism mean 2) a troll account 3) a likely astroturf troll account, often an alt of the person sharing the rage bait.
