IRL, in the building in which I've worked since late in the OhBummer! MalAdministration, the most common "first language" of my coworkers is Mandarin Chinese. Vietnamese might be the second most common.
IRL, the executive pastor of the church we will be attending this AM is Korean, and the pastoral staff includes another Korean, Indians, an Iranian, an Assyrian ... just off the top of my head. The home group we'll be attending tonight incudes a Taiwanese and a Korean couple.
IRL, with our support, our daughter lived and attended a university in central China. Her university classes were entirely in Chinese.
IRL, the very much welcomed spouse of one of our adult children is of East Asian ancestry.
IRL, I know: I am far from atypical; there are probably far more racists - specifically haters of "whites" and Jews - among Libs & Progs than among Trump voters.

Only problem (In the eyes of the DUmmies, anyway) with that:

See, as I'm sure you're aware, Asian- Americans have been no strangers to hardship and oppression since they first started coming to America.
From the ones in the early- mid 19th century who worked horrifically dangerous jobs in mines and building railroads often under conditions not much better than the conditions that the black slaves on the Southern plantations experienced and were treated as second- class if not third- class citizens, to the WWII- era Japanese- American internment camps, to just four years ago when there was an outbreak of anti- Asian- American violence and hate crimes at the hands of bigoted morons who blamed them as a race for the COVID pandemic.
However...
A) In spite of this, they endured and in many cases thrived, due to their culture's heavy emphasis on things like hard work, self- discipline, and bringing honor to their family names, all concepts which the modern far Left deeply despise.
B) Tying into the previous point, they proved that even persecuted and oppressed minorities can still make something of themselves without a ton of government handouts, which negates all the propaganda that the radical Dems constantly spew.
C) While Asian- Americans do not forget these instances of hardship and oppression against them and their ancestors, at the same time, they also do not psychotically obsess over them, demand reparations for them, use them as an excuse/ justification for harboring bigotry and grudges against people who look like their past oppressors, OR allow Dem politicians to cynically exploit the legacy of those atrocities for shallow political purposes.
For all those reasons, many on the far Left view Asian- Americans as "Traitors" and "Sellouts to the white man."
I can still recall in the early 2010s sparring with a particularly brain- dead Communist (I'm not using hyperbole by saying that; He regularly sang the praises of Stalin, Marx and Lenin) troll on a conservative blog I used to frequent. In one thread, he (Who openly accused myself and others on the blog of racism too many times to count) actually made the statement that "Americanized Asians are practically white anyway."
