we connected on FB after sitting next to eachother and sharing so many Dem feelings and having been through some of the 1% shit over the last 2 decades..


Now she is in between jobs and apartments

She posted she was sleeping in her car with wife and grandkid in snow season For CMas

Her bday is the 25th, mine is Jan 1
we deserve to have a cake dammitt

I may be unemployed, but I have a roof overhead <3

I offered her and fam to come stay for the week till New Years and they can get into a place

I have been there
There but for the grace of...


I may be struggling in my stuff, but I have space and can find some "extra beans for the pot" as my grandma used to say

We are all in this together

I dont need kudos for sharing...I am excited to have some friends to cook with and for
This is actually gonna be a fun week, even if we don't have a tree
dollar-store candy in stockings is fun too

my teen son and her teen grandson are gaming

everything feels "normal"

we can rest and figure out what our next steps are towards finding our balance for 2020

...and that's the difference with the 1%
We help each other because we know its just one crap event away from struggle
we help each other and pay it forward

Could someone translate that from DUmmie-speak? I doubt this DU-member or her new-found friend has been within 100 feet of an actual 1%er. Probably not received a paycheck from one, either. Unless The Bern was at the rally and they sat close enough to him.
