Third quarter now underway.

If Wisconsin scores first, game over.  No Rose Bowl for the Cornhuskers.

If Nebraska scores first, it's going to be a l-o-o-o-o-o-n-g game.

Oh by the way, I just saw on my FB that one of the bars in Madison is offering Free Jell-o shots with every Badger TD. I personally while drinking never had Jell-o shots. Never had the desire to mix a kiddie dessert with booze. As my father would say, "That's amateur hour. If you're gonna drink, just drink."

What I wos wondering is how crocked many of them are going to get. Lol. There's still a lot of game left, very probably another TD or two, and I doubt all the patrons are doing is waiting for scores to drink.

Touchdown, Wisconsin.

Game's over.

I could never figure that out.

"Come-backs" are a natural characteristic of individual Nebraskans; Hell, my own life is a litany of bad starts but good finishes.

But the football team's never had it.

Point-after successful.

Wisconsin 27, Nebraska 24.

I must say this year's ESPN is the best internet scoreboard I've seen since they were first invented.

I guess the Nebraska football team finally got it, Coach.

Well, I was surprised when I woke up this morning.

Wisconsin 27, Nebraska 30, final.

Based upon the internet scoreboard only, which shows scores and possession of the ball, when I went to bed circa 10:15 p.m., it looked to me as if Nebraska had run out of steam--we do do that, sometimes as early as mid-way through the first quarter--and the final score was bound to be Wisconsin 35, Nebraska 27, or even Wisconsin 42, Nebraska 27.

So I'm surprised, but not nearly as happy as I'd be in the past.
