Rod Blagojevich immediately, and making the story last distract his transition longer than it would have otherwise. Politico.com captures the main thrust of Rendell's comments:Now, he said, the story will continue to dominate the media's attention."They have never been in an executive position before," Rendell said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "The rule of thumb is whatever you did, say it and get it over with and make it a one-day story as opposed to a three-day story. Politicians are always misjudging the intelligence of the American people."...

It looks like we've got four years of screw ups to look forward to. Obamas only chance at having a decent legacy is if Congress is taken over by responsible adults, Conservatives, and the economic ship is righted with him at the helm.
