It's 5:12 AM PDT and the OP hasn't been deleted for being from a "
Reich-Wing source". I'm mildly surprised. As for the content:
1. We Rarely Get to Come to the Conversation in Good Faith
Gun grabbers talk about only wanting "common sense gun control", but what they propose is nonsensical, won't solve anything, and are intended to be steps toward outlawing and confiscating all legally owned guns.
2. The ‘Blood on Their Hands’ Attacks Are Offensive
And ubiquitous! And gun-grabbers' first, last, and always "argument". Pointing out to gun-grabbers that clubbing law-abiding decent people with false accusations of complicity with murder is counter-persuasive is also futile. Gun-grabbers are hate-driven. They will
NEVER give up this rhetorical club.
3. The Loudest Voices Are Often the Most Ignorant
Gun-grabbers ignorance of what they hate is as mythic as it is monumental. And the moment someone less ignorant calls out the laughable errors that destroy their credibility, gun grabbers dismiss the importance of facts.
4. The Most Prominent Policy Ideas Have Nothing to Do With the Tragedy
No law on the books and nothing proposed would have prevented any of the attacks. Most are irrelevant to how mass shooters got their guns, and someone whose mind won't hesitate to commit murder won't hesitate to break laws to obtain a gun or be deterred by "Gun Free Zones". In fact, to someone bent on killing lots of random people, "Gun Free Zone" means
Plentiful Undefended Targets!
5. We Seriously Don’t Care About Gun Laws in Other Countries
(Name of country)'s history, culture, and social structure/make-up are different than ours. One size does and cannot not fit all.
6. We Really Do Consider Owning Firearms a Right
The Second Amendment officially recognizes and affirms that right.
