Women with nothing to gain came forward and spoke.
It really is binary.
They told the truth.
OR
They lied.
For a bunch of old white goats in the US Senate GOP caucus to qualify their statements about Moore and couch it in "If these allegations are true . . . ." is to show disrespect to these women.

After decades of defending Bill Clinton's sexual predations, Roman Polanski's rape of a 13YO, initial reflexive defense of Harvey Weinstein, defense of Anthony Weiner, and more such instances than I care to try to recall, STC's hypocrisy is so gross that if DU had even one decent non-mole member they'd call STC out.
As I posted on another Cave thread, I can understand years and maybe even a couple of decades of reluctance to come forward about something thoroughly traumatic. The(se) claims don't sound traumatic, and it's a month before the election. This is looking more like a Herman Cain style fake accusation, the special election version of an October Surprise. Moore could barely prove what city he lived in 35 or 40 years ago, let alone individual acquaintances and/or incidents.

He would quantify it by saying Clinton's accusers had "something to gain." The problem with that is neither Mike, nor anyone on the political left, is qualified to determine what does and what does not constitute "nothing to gain" verses "something to gain."

Read today that the WaPo was offering thousands of $$$ to some woman to allege such antics against Moore. What do you want to bet that half to 3/4 of the R's running next year have similar allegations against them?
