I don't look to doper musicians for political wisdom, but when you're DU-DUmb I guess they can seem smart when they say what you wanted to hear. For my part, to the degree Hollyweird and the music industry hate Trump, I see that as an endorsement.

Professional musicians are amazing at what they do, but usually are as Cooper said when it comes to things like finances and contracts. Aretha Franklin dying intestate would be the latest - but far from unique - example of this. The only musician I can think of who did really well off-stage was Lawrence Welk, who did well in real estate.
