Three months from now, my new computer can be built for less than what I scrimped and saved for to get it built last week. A year down the road, it'll probably be half the cost. Three years, it will not even be worth 1/3rd of what it originally cost
Last night I was looking at the particular model of Gateway that I have at home. When I bought it new in Dec. 07, it had just about all the bells and whistles. Cost me about $800.
I noticed this same computer being sold refurbished for $80.
Damned computers depreciate faster than Lord Zero's approval rating!
