Rustybayonet gave me the idea for this.

Technically it belonged to my parents, but if it was in the driveway it was "mine" for two summers...

1969 Impala.  Pic later.

I had several others including '49 and '51 Mercs, a '62 T-Bird, and a '70 Corvette. But I stick by my '56 T-Bird.

It was a "Senior" Bird meaning it was 100% original, and won several car shows. I bought it in '85 for $14,000 as an investment. It paid off, and the investment eventually led to our $76,000 retirement home free and clear in '92. We did okay, but I sure do miss my Bird.

At a Ford dealer's car show in Columbus, OH, in '87...my wife is in the passenger seat...

I've always been a car nut - partial to Ford...........

I wish I still had my Honda Shadow 700.  That bike was nearly new when I got it... ten years old and only 11k on the odometer.

My first car bought with my own money was a 1983 Chevy Malibu. I bought it in 1991.  Sky blue. Small block 8 cylinder. What an amazing car. 4 door, but man it was fast. Bench seats. I still miss that thing. I put a new radio in it, and I thought it was the coolest car in the world.
