I would really like to see Redstone win this next year, if for no reason other than snagging anything from DU2 that might be worthwhile in writing the reward, before it rides off into the sunset.

I think it's pretty much hopeless.

What's happened is that as more and more decent and civilized people become aware of, and interested, in the primitives on Skins's island, those of us who go back a l-o-o-o-n-g time are outnumbered in the voting.

One can't fault newbies for voting the ways they do; after all, they're new to this, and tend to be familiar with only more-recent primitives.

I'm thinking that beginning with the Top DUmmies of 2015, an additional award might be needed, to commemorate the DUmmies of yore.  It'd have to be the choice of old-timers, and I'd call it the "Andy," for obvious reasons.

At the same time, of course keeping the "Willie."

Maybe an unrelenting full court press in the campaigning effort could swing the vote towards Redstone?  He even looks like a primitive's primitive.

"Rediscovering Redstone" has a nice ring to it for the campaign.

I could never vote for a dead DUmmy.

Deadstone is dealing with an infinitely more distressing set of circustances now (and forevermore) than any DUmp recognition.

Living DUmmies, having not yet realized what awaits in the hereafter, can be embarrassed and upset by their treatment in the DOTY sweepstakes.

Voting for a dead DUmmy is like firing unnecessary rounds into a dead rodent.

Maybe there could be a special award for outstanding dead democrat.

If it were a sporadic award, I could see it working, since you never know if your'e going to get a good crop of them (or any at all) in a given year.

Yeah, Doug really is/was a one-hit wonder but man oh man he is/was a miserable pos. I didn't vote for him (voted for Redstone) but looking back, I wish I had. When I was researching before voting this year, I came across this old thread:

So a new guy started today, just set up his computer at his desk

Sales guy to replace a guy who is out on disability for a few months (not a permanent position) He wanted ClusterFAUX as his home page (alarm bells, sirens, cannons going off in my head).

When I told him it's blocked here (pats self on back) because it isn't 'news' and management is wary of the influence on productivity, he went ****ing ballistic.

Wait till he finds out ALL of the Freepturd sites are blocked here.......

Wow.  DB must have felt like somebody that day, what with running his little fifedom at the dealership.  I bet he spent all day perusing his coworkers browsing histories and other computer activities.

What a shitbag.

19. He USED to work for our other dealership

so they hired him back to fill in here for a few months. I don't know why he isn't at the other place anymore. I wish I was involved in that decision making process....

42. Yeah, but the owner is on vacation so I'll find out next week

why this guy is no longer there. It must have been a while ago because they've owned us for over a year and I never saw him there. maybe he was a 'casualty' of one of the GM/Chrysler dealer franchise revocations.

14. He got the "do not attempt to download or install ANYTHING" lecture

the look on his face was priceless........

He is a small version of Joe the Plumber, big belly, bald, and talks like a typical car salesman (Happy Days vocabulary), which is sad he was chosen to replace the older guy temporarily. The guy who is out is one of the few classy guys in the business.

34. **** him, 15 minutes on the job and he doesn't like his chair

My response was 'maybe it's not the seat but the ass in it'.*

He is still red and VERY quiet.

The GM agrees he isn't long for employment here. And now I think we understand why he isn't at our other place.

Time for some LIBERAL lunch.......

Dial-a-fix does not work with any Windows OS higher than Windows XP. This includes Windows Vista, Windows 7.

Dial-a-fix also has a critical unpatched bug that will delete your C:\Documents folder.
That tells me what I need to know about Doug's IT credentials.

I hope he never works again.  Nobody deserves him as a coworker.

Oh, but screw his professional credentials; merely as a person, he was much worse.

For example, upon clocking in, he used to grab a magazine and go sit on the single commode in the men's room for half an hour or so, stenching up the room so badly other employees couldn't use it until noon.

And he did it on purpose, too.

Why not??  They tend to vote quite frequently.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

The malice, vindictiveness and malevolence a lib can show are nearly inhuman.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
