I just bought a house in SC. I planon standing up at the corner store & talking to every single person that goes in & out with the hope of turning out the dems in high numbers to make him go away. I also plan on going door to door & anything else I can. This crap is just getting stupid.

Stewart is across the river in GA and SW of Savannah. It's not a great distance, but I wouldn't think anyone stationed at Stewart lived in SC. Ft. Jackson, Parris Island, Beaufort MCAS, and I think maybe an AF base is in the district. I'm right to the left of that I-20 sign at the border.

Ft. Stewart is a little south and west of Savannah. I have a son in law whose family is there while he is in Afghanistan.

I live south of Savannah. My family had land in a little town called Clyde, GA. When Ft. Stewart came, the govt. bought the entire town. That's when my family (and most others in Clyde) moved to Richmond Hill. I have family buried in cemeteries on Stewart. Ft. Stewart, Hinesville, and my small town are all in GA-1, represented by Jack Kingston (R). He's running for senate next year, and  hope he gets it.

A few towns went through the same fate when Ft. Gordon was created. Pinetucky, and a couple others. A few others suffered the same fate when SRS was built, Ellenton for one. There's a "New Ellenton" now. "The Big Show" is from there.
