Bouncy Ball's Greatest Hits
« on: May 12, 2008, 11:35:37 PM »
The term "Bouncy" has taken on a life of its own, but it does have a definite origin.  It has come to represent a completely fake encounter, often involving a conversion of a Republican to the liberal side.  I'm pleased to present again, the very best of the original Bouncy:

I think I live in Arlen, Texas. Only it's not funny, just sad.
So I'm kinda sick of bad teachers.

DUELING car alarms/horns outside.
Number of times I was awakened last night: SEVEN.
Why is it the most f*cked up families I know are republican ones?
I'm having nightmares about the animals I used to eat.
If you DON'T understand the rules of foot traffic stay the hell outta the way
I see why people don't ride bikes much around here!
 I need to vent.
My boss makes me look bad.
Last night, Mr. Bouncy said he was "uncomfortable" with my bumper stickers
Why do I even bother to try to eat salads? I can't.
I don't have parents. Or grandparents. Or siblings. Or cousins.
why would kids be learning about peace in school? that's stupid!!!
How did I get such an overdeveloped guilt complex?
 Well. Hell's. Bells.
I got into a fight (physical) with another woman about two years ago.
One time the most disturbing thing happened:
Who can't stand being around drunk people when you are sober?
So get this: I dry heaved so much last week I INJURED MY JAW.
Describe the bitchiest/most assholish person you've ever known
I don't normally do this, but I'm going to be a sympathy whore right now.
I have to tell you about this meal I had on Friday night. [/b][/url]
I have no gay friends in real life. Is there something wrong with me?
Dilemma: Should I get a new doctor?
Did you know in some cities honking is considered the HEIGHT of rudeness?
WEIRD-ASS political doin's at my daughter's elementary school today
I met up with someone who personifies what has happened to our economy
I hate going to the dentist. Does anyone actually not hate it?
Ok I got about 3 hours of sleep because of DU being down
So my husband found a wallet today with $2000 cash in it.
"Don't be such a freaky ass republican" Overheard at Target just now.
Ready for another tale of repukelican hypocrisy boys and girls?
Saw a bush voting neighbor in the grocery store line today
Let's crunch some numbers with a minimum wage earner, shall we?
Crunching the numbers for our minimum wage earner, Sue, Part II
It had to be done. Another friendship completely over.
I was out shopping today and overheard some interesting conversation
I just had to practice a little "Tough bush Love" on a bush voter
Update on the Kerry voter who lost her job Friday and a remarkable DUer:

These are the people I help from here on out
The bush voting asshole who made my daughter cry got fired!!!!
Let's talk about annoying people you work with!!!

Ah, yes, the bouncing one, the bubbly exuberant effervescent teaching assistant from Texas, who was always converting Republicans even when cops jumped out from behind the bushes.

Every single one of those primitive bonfires is a great read.

Excellent work Mr. Wiggum sir! I will come back and re-read once I've refilled my coffee mug. Thank you again!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Describe the bitchiest/most assholish person you've ever known

The correct terminology here is assholistic.

The word was coined somewhere around  the early 90's by me during a conversation with my sister.  It's in reference to my ex husband when I couldn't get the sorry bastard to chip in on our son's sports expenses.  She and I still howl with laughter when the situation calls for such verbiage!

I assume this would be the person you know with the most assholosity...

The wonderful thing about divorce and child support is that eventually the child grows up and you no longer have to deal with assholistic former spouses.  The assholosity is now a tempered tolerance if the occasion calls for us to be under the same roof for any length of time.

Amazingly enough, they are all Bouncy Ball originals, and all completely different threads.

I don't recall her penning the same sort of 'stories' when she posted under Moonbeam Starlight around '03/'04.  Or maybe she did and I just wasn't paying that much attention back then.

I think a few of the threads I posted are actually under the name Moonbeam Starlight.

No, no...

I thought all the thread titles were, in fact, just one long rambling post, rather than titles to various threads.

I envisioned BB, typing out a 'Carlos high on 'shooms' and the like' fog, freetyping out what ever random thoguth came into her mind...

The funny thing is, I know what she looks like and RKZ sort of resembles her.... I had to take a double take as well.  :-)
