Death toll rises to 50 in human-smuggling tragedy on San Antonio’s Southwest Side

Forty-six immigrants were found dead Monday night in a tractor trailer on a stretch of scrubland on the Southwest Side.
Four more people who were discovered still alive in the rig have since died, bringing the death toll to 50, Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said Tuesday morning.
The dead include 22 immigrants from Mexico, seven from Guatemala and two from Honduras, Ebard said in a Tweet. The rest are still being identified.
The new deaths come after law enforcement officials found nearly 100 people inside a tractor trailer on Quintana Road near Lackland Air Force Base — a desolate area marred by illegally dumped trash and wrecked furniture, with at least one salvage yard close by. Forty-six were pronounced dead at the scene.
51 people died in the truck in San Antonio. San Antonio is often where human smugglers go.

When illegals stop putting their faith and money in criminals who are doing their best to exploit them, my Give-A-Shit meter might find a way to work properly again.
But until then, I don't Give-A-Shit.
Illegals reap what they sow.
And the criminals that put them in those situations need to be drawn and quartered the day after they've been caught.

1. With few exceptions, I would not wish such a death on anyone, but these illegals took a risk and that tempers my sympathy some.
2. In the realm of exceptions, the coyotes who did this to them should be staked naked on a fire ant anthill in the Texas summer Sun until four-legged coyotes have had their fill.

IMO, this can be laid at the feet of the Brandon Administration. Their policies of non-enforcement of immigration laws served to encourage this.
