So Obama's getting a taste, or may soon get a taste, of what kind of criticism came President Bush's way regarding Hurricane Katrina?
Perhaps he's learning something here that his Marxist mentors and his minions didn't know about, thus teach him; or that he never learned by his unimpressive days in the Illinois legislature and U.S. Senate?
BTW: On Aug. 29, 2007, the second anniversary of Katrina, His Hope-and-Change-Ness reportedly blamed some storm survivors for “shattering the faith that millions of innocent people had in the power of government.â€
“These people who have organized their own relief and rebuilding efforts have done more to hurt the poor, dependent folks of this country than anything in recent memory,†then-Sen. Obama is reported to have said.
"Instead of waiting like good people of faith, these over-achievers have callously taken their future into their own hands," he's also reported to have said. "As a result, they gained an unfair advantage over others, and cast doubt on the ability of government to solve people’s problems.â€
Further, Obama reportedly said private-sector initiatives which rebuilt many neighborhoods, churches and businesses were “little more than a cynical ploy by unbelievers to destroy the childlike trust of rest of us.â€
Using "unbelievers" and saying they destroyed the "childlike trust of the rest of us" in government? "People of faith" in what, "the power of government," too? Get a grip, fella.
He's a real piece of work: an arrogant, whining, me-me-me, victimhood-promoting, creative-killing, blame-everyone-else, Marxist, megalomanical prima donna.
