We got a set like this:

They are fun, easy, fairly quick...though people that already knit wouldn't like them.  You can make round things, or go back and forth to make something flat.  We made a few different sizes of stocking caps, didn't really get more into them.

I got the Martha Stewart one, it had more options.... Making a blanket for my bed...

I have 2 sets of the round one and a set of long ones.  I've only just started using them.  I was never any good at traditional knitting or crochet.

If anyone uses the smaller sock looms I'd love to hear your experience and which one works well.
