DonViejo (33,300 posts)Kevin Spacey Addresses Misconduct Allegation by Coming Out as GayKevin Spacey has issued an official statement in response to allegations made by actor Anthony Rapp, who told BuzzFeed News that Spacey made a drunken sexual advance on him when he was just 14 years old. Spacey, who claimed not to remember the incident, said that if he did do what Rapp has alleged, then he owes him the “sincerest apology” for his “inappropriate” behavior. Rapp described Spacey climbing on top of him on a bed at a party in 1986 before he was ultimately able to get away and leave the room. Spacey also took the opportunity to address the rumors about his sexuality, revealing for the first time publicly that he “chooses” to “live as a gay man.” In a 2010 interview with The Daily Beast, Spacey declined to specify his sexual orientation, saying, “No one’s personal life is in the public interest. Leave it to DUmmies to redefine normalcy. Defining deviancy downward, or attempting to. Attacking a 14 year old is disgusting for a 20 something year old of any sexual persuasion. At least Spacey fessed up & apologized.Honestly don't care about one's sexual activities as long as they are an adult. And always enjoy Kevin Spacey's acting.
Threads are multiplying on this topic over there. The delicious, krunchie, no-goodness of this issue is tearing them apart. Those riding to Spaceman's defense are being mowed down like the 7th Cavalry at Little Big Horn. Some real butt hurt on this one for the DU fudge packers and pedophile enablers. Getting a 14 yr old drunk and molesting them, no matter what sex, is indefensible. IMHO.
