USDA Official Saying She Didn't Give 'Full Force' of Help to White Farmer

This has got to be confusing the hell out of the DUmmies. Glenn Beck is defending her on his TV show. 

I know I'm watching right now. Seems like the whole video wasn't played, she was using the example of the white farmer as a turning point in her life. Where it wasn't about black and white but the haves vs the have nots. Still offensive but for a totally different reason and not the reason she was told to resign. The White House demanded she resign, according to an interview Beck played from CNN today.

I saw the video.

Comments like I took him to his "own kind"  and "It's still about black and white".

If she was trying to convey a lesson learned, she went about it very poorly.

There may be more video than what Beck played, but I remain suspect of her claim that it was taken out of context.

If she honestly thought that she had done no wrong then she should have refused to resign.  She shoud have forced them to fire her, then file a lawsuit for wrongful termination.

He had a valid comparison of her comments and him at an AA meeting.  It makes me wonder if the left won't try and turn this on the right for being with hunter's.  Breitbart knew what he was doing when he released the snip of her saying what she did. He is as good at playing the left as Rove is, almost.

Mrs. E took every opportunity to point her finger at conservatives (she's an outraged lib, but that can be expected since she's glued to the All Barack Channel most of the time) and cry how unfair politics is.

I cannot view video at work due to firewalls, so I didn't see the 2 minute clip, but Fox reported that Sherrod's speech was done back in March and was over 43 minutes long.

Update to the story on the All Barack Channel News: Sherrod's not sure if she wants her job back, assuming it'll be offered back to her. Can anybody smell a lawsuit coming? It sorta has that stink, doesn't it?

This writer seems to think that Breitbart set up the NAACP to overreact, and just caught the White House as an afterthought.  I do think Breitbart deliberately released just enough to cause this , and knew that the full tape would be virtually meaningless.

Sherrod will claim that she was shitcanned because of her comments in front of the NAACP AND because of the lawsuit from last year. (This is borne out from statements already publicly made by Vilsack.)

The outfit that she was with cleaned up $13 million and Sherrod and her husband each got $150K for "pain and suffering".    

She'll refuse the offer for her job back, then sue the government for wrongful termination for an even bigger settlement.

Breitbart: It's Not About Shirley Sherrod; It's About NAACP attacking Tea Party

Breitbart’s argument is simple and straightforward: Regardless of what else is in Sherrod’s speech, the first video released on BigGovernment.com features Sherrod telling a tale of racism that is received by the NAACP audience with laughter and cheers. They weren’t cheering redemption; they were cheering discrimination. Upon hearing the cheers, Sherrod fails to offer any immediate clarification and even smiles right along with them.

Breitbart’s main objective by releasing the video was to call out the NAACP, an organization who has recently gone to great lengths to condemn the Tea Party’s alleged racism, for sanctioning racism in it’s own organization. Sherrod immediately became the scapegoat for the embarrassed NAACP and USDA, but she was never the target, the NAACP itself was, and the delight the audience took in the racist part of Sherrod’s speech leaves them exposed.

Sherrod’s firing is on the NAACP, who had the entire tape and apparently never bothered to scrutinize it until Sherrod had already been relieved of her duties. If it’s on anyone else, it’s the Obama administration, but Breitbart never even called for Sherrod to be fired.

Exemplified with today’s revelations into the JournoList and reinforced with the quote Breitbart read on Hannity, it’s been confirmed that the left conspires to label the right “racist” in order to distract from reasonable objections to Democratic candidates and ideas. In the 2008 election, it was Obama’s association with Reverend Wright. Today, it’s staggering unemployment figures. Breitbart has identified that tactic, and like he did with the ACORN video exposé, he’s used the left’s playbook against them.

I watch cable news very, very seldom anymore. And if Lauer's on, it's channel-flipping time. I can't stand that puke.
