Fed-up Marine has guns blazing to oust Democrats

SOMETHING IN THE AIR
Fed-up Marine has guns blazing to oust Democrats
'They're destroying this nation, and while I'm still breathing, I will not let it happen'
"Send a warrior to Congress."
"Does this look like a Rino?"
In the battleground of American political power, candidates for office tend to use every weapon at their disposal to be heard above the din.
Now, a U.S. Marine who helped lead the initial charge into Iraq to oust Saddam Hussein is taking that approach literally by brandishing his M-16 assault rifle in some eye-catching campaign fundraising ads.
"I'm taking full credit for that," says 28-year-old Jesse Kelly of Tucson, Ariz., a Republican seeking to boot Democrat Gabrielle Giffords from the U.S. House of Representatives. "If you're not going to get anyone's attention, you might as well not waste your time or money."
Sgt. Kelly, who is married and has a 9-month-old son, is splashing his spots across the Internet on high-profile sites such as the Drudge Report, and offering no apologies about the weapon imagery.
"I think people understand fully well that I'm serving my country," he said. "I'm in Iraq at war for my nation. I'm not posing in my bedroom
with a gun."
----
Whoa. Hold on a minute here. This is way over the line, isn't it?
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x6383640Yep the DUmmies are right this guy is a real wackjob,
Indeed, Kelly's online ad thrashes the current administration, stating:
I'm tired of President Obama and the liberals who control Congress insulting us, calling us racist, and calling us a mob. I'm tired of their double-talk. I'm tired of their bait-and-switch shell games. I'm tired of being avoided by my public servants. They have forgotten that they work for us. ...
Ronald Reagan once famously said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." We are that generation! Either we stand now and fight for our country, or the great United States of America may be but a fading memory.
He told WND his main goals are to "bring fiscal sanity back to Washington, to stop the out-of-control spending, and get back to the founding principles of free-market capitalism."
A wackjob if you are DUmmy that is. To me he sounds like a reasonable fellow who understands what this country is supposed to be.

3. He is no longer active duty nor still in the reserves.
He just like to play dress-up in his old soldier uniforms and pretend to be a tough guy. He's a total fool.
It just burns you up that you can't call him a chickenhawk.

45. We should note that anyone can be a nut. Take McVeigh as an example...

He was also a vet and was a nut. Now one should be careful not to criticize him in ways that could backfire with those of the public that do like nationalistic symbolism and view critiques done improperly as being "unAmerican". But I think there's a way to be careful and still critique guys like this to make sure everyone sees the holes in his logic, without just attacking his nationalistic symbolism.
McVeigh was not exactly the model soldier as this young man seems to be. Only in your sick twisted mind could you compare this man to McVeigh.

2. The man is unhinged. He seems to think, if elected, he can show up to Capitol Hill with guns blazing
That is the image he is using and the underlying message he is sending out.
I can't imagine how he'll do in a debate. Does he realize he can't stand on the stage with his Democratic opponent armed?
For being so nuanced they sure have no understanding.

that guy sounds like a major ****ing nutcase from what you wrote............
So you will take another primitives word rather than see for yourself. Talk about "mob mentality". I love and respect all the folks here but I still click the links to see for myself what is there.

15. I checked it all out, not a single line crossed
and not much different from some Democratic candidates in 2006 and 2008.
I wouldn't vote for him, but he's 100% legit.
Ouch that's gonna leave a mark.

46. They are about hate and racism. Did I really need to tell you that?
When DUmmies are out of facts they play the trump card racism and hate.
Kelly actually took over a town-hall meeting this month when its original congressional host, Rep. Giffords, canceled her appearance.
He stressed there's "no question" the national outpouring of rage against members of Congress is "100 percent genuine."
"These are citizens concerned about a government takeover of one-sixth of the economy," Kelly said, explaining Americans are not ready to give life-and-death decisions to Obama.
"These people are scared of a government that has grown radically out of control."
That my friends is why they hate him he is telling it how it is.
