I ask the mods to leave this post alone. It says nothing nasty and attacks nobody.

I've known for over a year who this person is in real life. While he kept attacking me time and again, I left it alone. We have friends in common. We are both invited to the same party tonight. I wonder if he will show after reading this? He spends a lot of time here on the DU.

Last November he shot his mouth off in public at an event that should not have been politicized. He was on a rant about Olberman donating a few thousand $'s to democratic candidates being an obvious ethics violation: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1110/44734.html

He didn't have any trouble with Fox News giving $1M to the Republican Governors Association: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/08/18/news-corp-gives-m-republican-governors-association/

He then bragged about his extensive role on a conservative blog. Currently he has the highest number of posts on that blog. I was cheated out of the top award there yesterday. Long story.

Strange how the #1 DU troll lives in my city council district as I run for that office next year. This fall he mentioned me to a friend of his not realizing it would get back to me. We even get gas at the same station.

He once said "Omaha Steve doesn't realize he lives in a fish bowl" and proceeds to say some very nasty things (he thinks anonymously) about me. I wonder if I should consider revealing his real life info?

His nasty ultra-conservative friends would see over a dozen items on the net in his past he can't erase that scream closet liberal. It could be very embarrassing for him.

Happy New Year,

Omaha Steve

Interesting....

 You weren't cheated, just like in real life you're a loser.  DOTY requires diligence, perseverance, and above all dedication, all of which you lack.

This would make for a great news story...
City Council Candidate releases Personal Info about people who aren't voting for him...

Yeah. Do it Steve. It will do wonders for your campaign. Further the threat in your post alone is enough to send to the paper. Politicians deal with dissent all the time...only YOU want to reveal persona;l info on your enemies...
Go ahead and do it.

Just understand we can cut and paste and send emails to your local paper. Its fun and easy.

your move.

OK gang so what city is Steve running in again?
Just a look at #3 reveals...Bellevue city council

Sounds like a veiled threat..............................

Its someone Steve believes is going to the same party tonight...wish it was me! That would be a blast!

I would LOVE to say, "Hey Steverino, Hows the campaign? PS I sent your runner up status to all the local media.
Can't wait for tomorrows paper."

Most likely...but sending his threat to a newspaper might be fun...

Hey, Steve! Real Politicians have to deal with this all the time. Stop being such a big baby!
Do I really need to do this Steve? You tell me...

The many and varied ways this could go horribly wrong for Steve-O have an almost unbounded comedic potential, and now that he's posted it, he can only lose face with the DUmmies by not forging ahead!

In today's litigious environment, that may be grounds for a lawsuit.

Major paper

There is no need.  His opponent's name is mentioned many times here at CC -- once he googles his name, he will find us and learn all about Steve the perennial loser runner-up socialist who attacked some poor working stiff just doing his job at the mall.

Frank has put together a beautiful everything-you-ever-wanted-to-know-about-Steve portfolio that the Bellevue GOP will be forced to send a very nice thank you card on.

Steve, the helicopters are coming for you dude.    Time to explain the completely unexplainable.    We have front row seats to all it also (disclosure I did vote for you for top DUmmie as the press release to your local rags would have been so delicious we would have had to slap a calorie info box on it).

He -- very publicly -- declares who he is, and the seat he is running for, on a open forum and that is cut and pasted to local media which he will be required to answer to?

Yeah, no lawsuit there.   Just cut, paste and send.   No commentary necessary.

I'd say send the information to whoever it needs to go to. The cops and OmahaSteve can deal with the fallout.

I seem to remember an old quote from Star Trek. " On Vulcan the teddy bears have 6 inch fangs". Sometimes you have to be aware tha even the cutest, cuddliest thing can be dangerous given the oppurtunity.

But in Bellvue, the Teddys are more likely to pout, get snarky, stomp their feet and hump your leg.

Well, wherever Omaha Steve's party's at, I surely hope he wears shoes with decent treads in them, so he doesn't slip and fall on someone, breaking a few bones.
