Hint to DUmmies--39 percent. Second-highest in the industrialized world, soon to be THE highest because Japan is lowering their corporate interest rate.
Another hint to DUmmies--Corporations do not PAY taxes, they merely collect them.
I've yet to run into a DUmmie who DOESN'T get blue in the face when I ask them to explain how they can get upset at a corporation like Exxon-Mobil which makes 15 cents per gallon of gas FOR THE ENTIRE chain including drilling, shipping, refining, distribution, and retail, yet have no problem with the government making 40 to 70 cents (70 cents!) on that same gallon of gas in taxes.
