As far as the two political parties are concerned.  They are both corrupt, and neither of us are going to get what we want.  I hope the past 8 years taught you that as the past 1 year has taught me that.  That being said, the Tea Party movement is nothing more than an arm of the GOP that will be quickly co-opted if they ever returned to power in the interest of politicians making money.

The TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party movement is not an arm of the GOP and wants little or nothing to do with the Republican establishment. The TEA Party were as much opposed to the idiots running the GOP as they were to Obama (aka Lord eVader). Go back and look at some of those signs again. The GOPers tried to co-opt the TEA Party movement but they have failed miserably.

The fact that I should be aware that all people are fallible and to analyze actions not words is in fact the best piece of advice my father ever gave me.

Like I said, no claim of perfection.   Been wrong many times in my life, been right many times as well.

I embrace my own humanity.  It was God given, and my mistakes in life are the greatest teachers.  I never really learn as much by doing something right.

When the primitives leave, they run to different sites.  In 2003, it was the Deaniac peopleforchange site.  There's a progressiveindependent site, there's Big Jerr's site, and there's been a few others inbetween.  It seems many of the former TS'd primitives lately are congregating at a site called oldelmtree, that is until the next site comes along for them to run.
