One thing I couldn't figure out about Spiro Agnew was how STUPID he was for taking cash bribes in brown paper bags. It might as well had "BRIBE" stamped all over those bags. The modern political way of bribery is to get a lobbying or political related job either for a relative or for the bribee himself later on. Or the bribe can come in the way of "consulting fees." Therefore I don't think Skinner was given a brown paper bag stuffed with cash. It was much more subtle than that.

Of course, however subtle the payoff, it was in stark contrast to Skinner's laughably unsubtle fanboy pitching for Hillary in DUmmieland. That was the "tell" that screamed out loud that Skinner was "incentivized" in some way to go all out for Hillary.

Quid pro quo has replaced cash in a paper bag.

As a long time observer of DU, (or the DUmp as we call it) it always seemed strange that DU members with several thousand posts would pop up out of nowhere saying the same thing and/or defending what was coming from the White House and the DNC.

One of the things that really amazes me  is similar to that.  How often do we see some DUmmie with 10's of 1000's of posts and registered at DU since the early years, yet know one has seen them before.

I think there are some sock puppet accounts that make them appear to be long term prolific posters, but they are only used when needed. All the profile data could be changed by admins, right?

Right now a lot of DUmmies already know they were sold out and betrayed by Skinner but are unable to do anything about it. It's like that scene in Braveheart when William Wallace finds out he was betrayed by Robert the Bruce but was too shocked to do anything about it. Instead of anger, Wallace was overwhelmed with sadness.

More proof that Shelly Moskwa, Treasurer of Friends of Hillary, is married to Skinner aka David Allen. By strange coincidence this info comes as a reply to me at the Free Republic in 2006 on a thread I started. So all along I had the info but it slipped by me.....until NOW!

...David Allen could be living with or married to Shelly Moskwa, the compliance director for Sen. Carl Levin or married to Ann Allen according to which address in DC he belongs.

You might recall back in 2008, there were a few brief members here, supporters of Hillary, who'd been chased away by the rabid Obamaites on Skins's island.

They were all women, five of them.

conservativecave was still new at the time, and I was trying to get new members by any hook or crook, by any means, so this place'd grow.

I found them very courteous and well-mannered.....s-o-o-o-o-o unlike the rabid Obamaites.

Probably nobody remembers them because they were wholly undisruptive.  None of them ever got banned or chased away; they all just quietly left after a bit, leaving nothing but fond memories of them in this head.
