I don't think there was an actual Clinton Foundation check made out to Skinner but something more indirect changed hands. Otherwise why would Skinner alienate most of the DUmmies with his over the top fanboy support for Hillary? BTW, I do notice that Skinner has been cooling it with his silly fanboy Hillary postings ever since this was highlighted at NewsBusters and the DUmmie FUnnies. Captain Obvious needed to learn how to be a wee bit more subtle. Methinks there might soon be a mass exodus from DUmmieland to KOmmieland. MarKos & Co. have wisely refrained from going Hillary fanboy. That DU is run only by a few insiders despite the fact they claim to be “grassroots†with 100K members makes sense to me now. As a long time observer of DU, (or the DUmp as we call it) it always seemed strange that DU members with several thousand posts would pop up out of nowhere saying the same thing and/or defending what was coming from the White House and the DNC. What (name) sent you, to me anyway, links everything together it all makes sense now.
Interesting to note too that during the 2008 election the Admins at DU were banning Hillary supporters left and right. It was quite an inter party war over there. And one of the owners has posted flat out that any criticism of Obama will not be tolerated. Even now, if anyone questions what Obama is doing they are immediately labeled a troll and banned. That kind of paranoia recently flared again with this firearms debate.
Then there is this little tidbit:
There's a couple of PR firms located in DuPont Circle where the DU offices are at. The one that I found interesting is Rafetto Herman. They not only have a D.C. office but one in Seattle. One of the big voices associated BlackBoxVoting.org before his death was Andy Stephenson who lived in Seattle. He was also a big time poster at DU.

The modern political way of bribery is to get a lobbying or political related job either for a relative or for the bribee himself later on. Or the bribe can come in the way of "consulting fees." Therefore I don't think Skinner was given a brown paper bag stuffed with cash. It was much more subtle than that.
Of course, however subtle the payoff, it was in stark contrast to Skinner's laughably unsubtle fanboy pitching for Hillary in DUmmieland. That was the "tell" that screamed out loud that Skinner was "incentivized" in some way to go all out for Hillary.

One of the things that really amazes me is similar to that. How often do we see some DUmmie with 10's of 1000's of posts and registered at DU since the early years, yet know one has seen them before.
I think there are some sock puppet accounts that make them appear to be long term prolific posters, but they are only used when needed. All the profile data could be changed by admins, right?

Right now a lot of DUmmies already know they were sold out and betrayed by Skinner but are unable to do anything about it. I found them very courteous and well-mannered.....s-o-o-o-o-o unlike the rabid Obamaites.
Probably nobody remembers them because they were wholly undisruptive. None of them ever got banned or chased away; they all just quietly left after a bit, leaving nothing but fond memories of them in this head.

There will never be a direct link to anything Hillary does. The Clintons do not work that way. It will be shuttled through the Clinton Foundation via foriegn 'donations' into PACs via work contracts and other laundering and into various pro-Hillary web-sites and organizations. All back door. All very 'transparent'.
Any real connection will be buried under a ton of false names, businessess, and 'projects for humanity'. All evidance will be wiped with this years server accident.
One does wonder at just how much Skinner is Skimming from Hillary. I would guess millions.

I dunno; this thread itself seems to be doing a rather admirable job.
There was a suggestion made earlier that it be moved to the limited-access Sandhills forum, where all the good dope on the primitives is stashed, and perhaps it actually does belong there, but problem.
One of the main posters on this thread here is w-a-a-a-y shy of having access to the Sandhills forum, and we wouldn't want him cut off.
The Sandhills forum exists because we don't want the primitives to know how much, exactly, decent and civilized people know about them--and a nervous, edgy, fearful primitive is a wondrous sight to watch--but this is kind of far from all that we know, so I assume it's safe to leave it out in public, for the primitives to peruse.

Friends of Hillary asserts that it rented its list to 88 lessees in total and that Ready for Hillary PAC paid the same rate as its other lessees, including non-political entities. Friends of Hillary disclosure reports indicates that it received 18 payments for list rentals between 2013 and 2014, ranging in amount from $260 to $203,683. Immigrants' experiences are not homogeneous.
Hugh Rodham, Sr. came here knowing the English language. Several of The Chill's great-grandparents were immigrants ... from the British Isles. Their adjustments involved getting used to small differences in American usage, slang, and culture.
My Dad's parents came to the US with German being their primary language and being familiar with Russian and German culture (they were "Volga Germans"). So they had to learn a new language and fit into a culture with some significant differences - and some significant similarities.
A large number of the people with whom I work are from east Asia - Korea, Hong Kong, and Vietnam. The very structure of their first languages is very different from English. Their cultures and history are extremely different from that of the US.

My Dad (and his brothers and sisters) learned English when they went to school. German was usually spoken in their home, and they helped found and attended a German-speaking Lutheran church. But my grandparents - who were already bilingual when they came to the US from Russia - also learned and used English outside of their home (our grandmother - our grandfather having died before most of us were born - used English with grandmunches like me when we came along). I wasn't taught German, nor AFAIK, were any of my cousins.
As a whole, I don't have a problem with immigrant communities forming somewhat insular enclaves, provided they don't become criminal or something extreme like that. At the same time, I do not think society or government should be forced to eliminate the consequences of that voluntary insularity. IOW, no 20-language road or DMV signs, no 42-language ballots (in CA, Spanish is one of two official languages - probably since the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo - and I suspect there may be a couple more states that have Spanish, possibly and/or French, as official languages; in those states ballots should be available in all official languages).
