I'm looking at picking up one of these:

Anyone have any experience with these? I'm hesitant to use them, particularly on a $50 Wii game that my 18-month-old recently wrecked. Would a manual repair kit be better? Or should I use this service:

They work unless there are deep gouges in the disc.

Ditto that. I have used a similar product to repair a couple CD's in the past. (Didn't pay that much IIRC but close). Make sure to back the defective disk up as soon as possible after repair.
