The Media did not cover the 1.2 million that oppose obama's Marxist policies
but this WILL get coverage. This man did not recognize the Christian
"National Day of Prayer" this year!!!

We should have known about this months ago, but, our government, who
issues permits for gatherings, did not bother to let it be known.

Washington, D.C. - On September 25th there will be a national prayer
gathering of Muslims on the west front of the U.S.
 
Capitol Building . They are expecting at least 50,000 to attend from
mosques all across America.

They will gather to pray from 4:00AM until 7:00 PM.
The gathering will take place by the site where U.S. Presidents have
been inaugurated since 1981.

The organizers say that it was Obama's inauguration speech in January
and his speech broadcast from Egyptin June that gave them he idea for
this prayer gathering on Capitol Hill.

I'm mixed and that's because 0bama neglected the National Day of Prayer, which would have encompassed ALL religions, not just Islam. To set aside a particular day for Islam seems to me to be somewhat to be promoting a certain religion over another, hence a violation of the First Amendment in that aspect. However, the First Amendment also says that we can't prohibit the free exercise of religion, either. Either way, it appears that 0bama is showing his true colors......

If this was a gathering of christians instead, the left would be having conniptions. "Separation of church and state!" "Separation of church and state!" "Separation of church and state!" "Separation of church and state!", etc.

If they do, they risk defeating their talking point on how the 9/12 rally was "only 60-70 thousand". If that many do in fact show up next week, we'll be able to see just how much space that many people take up, versus how much space >1 million people take up. I'm thinking we'll see a lot of close-up shots and cropped photos and no panaramic views or air shots like last week.

You neglected to mention that in Iran the comunity of Baha'i have 26 some odd woman in jail waiting execution for their faith.

This should be interesting, a small peek into the world of faith from 1.500+ years ago as it was then and now.

Like attending a synagogue on High Holy days the chants and sing song prayers that have not changed one iota in thousands of years the theatre and rituals fascinate me. 

As a kid I attended Catholic Trinities services in Polish and when the new services came about I was aghast, no more incense or chimes ringing for what ever reason. No more mystery as to what the priest was doing as he had his back to the congration.

My church was a small comunity church with none of the trapping from the past, nothing to tie the faith to the foundation of the earliest Christians.

The Greek and Russian Orthodox weddings and funerals are spectacular for anyone like myself raised in a small joyless faith that was devoid of ancient symbolism.

I do so wish I could be in DC to find someone to interpret what is going on, sort of like time travel into the world of Alli Baba and his 40 thieves, flying carpets, and fierce warriors in the storeys of my youth.

One of the more interesting weddings I ever attended was a Christian wedding outside at sun rise on the top of Mt. Cadillac in Maine. By coincidence there was something going on in the Native American Comunity and as the sun rose we could hear the constant drumming of the Indians as they gave praise to the rising sun.  Unbelievable, unforgettable.

Maybe you should do a bit of research before you make yourself look dumber.  They where not bowing towards the White House.  They where bowing towards the Capitol Building, which happens to be on the eastern end of the National Mall.

And please, next time you plan on cutting and pasting the same post across multiple websites, spell check it first.
